So....quite a week. By now most of Sacramento and a good chunk of the world, is aware of the attack on three Sacramento area musicians. All of them are recovering. The attack has been classified as a hate crime based on homophobic slurs uttered by the attacker and it's shaken up an otherwise cozy community. Tonight James Cavern is hosting a benefit show at Pour House in downtown. This is one of the many reasons I love this city and I hope to see you there tonight. The event starts at 10P.
Sac-X-Oakland duo Sister Crayon pushed ahead production on it's latest video to coincide with Friday's historic SCOTUS ruling allowing same sex couples the freedom to marry anywhere in the country. Both Dani Fernandez and Terra Lopez have a history of LGBT activism; the video celebrates their struggle.
