Since the start of the Vietnam War, the United States has entered in dozens of military entanglements across the globe, which have resulted in thousands of death and billions of dollars.
Auburn’s Brian Gruber set out on a mission to answer the question: Who did these wars impact and was it all worth it?
Following a Kickstarter campaign, Gruber traveled to Southeast Asia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Europe and Central America to interview the hundreds of people impacted by the military conflicts.
He created the book "War: The Afterparty," from his global travels and joins us in studio to discuss what he’s learned.
