Known as the Dawn Wall, it’s the most difficult route up Yosemite’s towering El Capitan, and possibly the most difficult climb in the world. Climbers Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson have been ascending the Dawn Wall since December 27 and finally reached the summit late Wednesday evening. Santa Rosa Press Democrat Staff Reporter Phil Barber has been following the climb of Santa Rosa native Jorgeson and joins us with reaction from the Yosemite Valley following the climbers’ victory.
