Matias Bombal, host of "Matias Bombal Hollywood," joins Insight to talk about the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society of Northern California's benefits film screening.
The group will be premiering a two-color technicolor of "King of Jazz," a 1930s film that encapsulated the music of its time.
With Bombal will be Vanessa Cherry, granddaughter of Jack Fulton, who was a trombonist and vocalist with the Paul Whiteman Orchestra from 1926-1934.
Musicologist and pianist Adam Swanson will perform live music at the even before the film screening. He talks about his upcoming performance on Insight.
The film will play at Tower Theater on Feb. 22.
