Oliver "Tuku" Mtukudzi Known to many as the “Elder Statesman of Afropop,” 62-year-old African guitarist Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi incorporates elements of different musical traditions across Africa, creating a distinctive style known as “Tuku Music.” Mtukudzi will be performing with his band Black Spirits at the Center of the Arts in Grass Valley Friday. But, before his concert, he’s joining us for a live in-studio performance.
