Capitol Chat California Republicans are gathering in Burlingame this weekend for their spring convention. California ProStart Cup Students from Cosumnes Oaks High School, Estrellita High School, Leo A. Palmiter and Whitney High School will compete in a series of “Chopped”-style challenges this weekend as part of the California ProStart Cup. Culinary teams made up will have 60 minutes to prepare a three-course meal using two butane burners, while management teams will present proposals for new restaurant concepts. We’ll talk with some of the participants about what they hope to accomplish and why food education matters in schools.
