World-renowned beer authority and author Charles Bamforth will conduct a “Bamforth Bierklinik” — one of his popular “beer clinics” — this Saturday with proceeds benefiting the Davis High School Symphony Orchestra’s upcoming trip to Carnegie Hall. The clinic is 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Sudwerk Restaurant and Brewery in Davis and the student musicians will be providing music for the event. Bamforth is a distinguished Professor at UC Davis’ Department of Food Science and Technology.
