Major League Soccer executives visited Sacramento this past week in order to take the city into consideration as a location for their franchise. Despite the fact that a decision has yet to be made, the Republic F.C. remained focused over the weekend and ended with a victory over LA Galaxy II for the USL PRO semifinal game. They will be moving on to host the Harrisburg City Islanders in the USL PRO Title game next weekend.
