Basetrack Live began with award-winning photojournalist Teru Kuwayama launching the Facebook page 1/8 BASETRACK. The Facebook page and website enabled Marines to communicate with their loved ones back home. It also became the repository for an amazing collection of photographs and videos of the Marines and the Afghanistan people. Now, the social media phenomenon has become a live theater event that explores the impact of modern warfare on soldiers, their families and communities across the United States with photographs, videos and social media exchanges set among a dynamic musical score. The west coast premiere of Basetrack Live is Thursday at the Harris Center for the Arts in Folsom.
Guests: Tyler LaMarr, Ashley Bloom, Kenneth Rodriguez
