Sacramento Theatre Company is staging an original production based on the life of iconic actress Katharine Hepburn. The show features Sacramento area actress Janis Stevens as Hepburn in the only speaking role.

Onetime co-actor with Hepburn, Mitch Agruss, –known in the Sacramento region as the lead in the “Cap’n Mitch” kid’s television show- created the concept for the production, and award-winning playwright Rick Foster crafted the script. “Kate” opens November 8.
