Sacramento, CA
It’s election day and that means it’s time to choose our government representatives and decide which ballot initiatives are worthy of becoming law. Capital Public Radio’s Jenny O’Mara is visiting polling places and talking to voters to see what motivated them to turnout when a majority of people are expected to sit this election out.
Today and the focus has switched from the candidates to the voters. We’ll check in with the Registrars of Voters in Sacramento, San Joaquin and Yolo Counties to see what turnout looks like and whether polling is running smoothly.
