Katie Orr will join us tp follow up on immigration. According to a recent NYTimes story, California is already doing many of the things Obama is calling for. She’s also working on a story about driver’s licenses for undocumented immigrants in Cali. It goes into effect in January and the DMV is planning to open on Saturdays and staff new field offices to handle it.
