Meera Klein grew up in south India and learned the art of vegetarian cooking in her Mom’s kitchen. Her new novel, combines storytelling with some of those recipes – it’s titled “My Mother’s Kitchen” and the book was recently chosen as a Finalist in the 2015 Beverly Hills International Book Awards.

Singer Joe Tolo, a graduate of Sacramento’s Grant High School did not advance to the live show on NBC’s “the Voice” but he had another terrific performance in his last round.
