Ross Hammond is a guitarist, improviser, and composer living in Sacramento. But the musician was raised with the church in Kentucky and his latest musical effort reflects his roots in the South. He describes his latest album, "Flight," as “musical prayer.” It’s a mix of hymns, traditional music and original works. The album will be available at Hammond’s CD release at Luna's Café Monday night and everywhere Tuesday.
