California isn’t just experiencing a lack of water but a lack of snow. Dr. Kelly Redmond is a deputy director and regional climatologist at the Western Regional Climate Center. He presented findings in Reno this week at the 2015 U.S. Drought Monitor Forum explaining how high temperatures in the Sierra Nevada have created a snow drought. Redmond joins us to talk more about his research and what’s being said about the drought at the forum in Reno.
