A new documentary directed by a former Capital Public Radio announcer is screening tonight at the Tower Theatre. “The Sacramento Picture” is a collection of rare movies of Sacramento from 1910 to 1974 woven together with selections from the KCRA news film collection between 1957 and 1960. The feature also includes interviews with local history experts. We’ll talk with director Matías Bombal - host of “Matías Bombal’s Hollywood” - about the movie and why it was made.
