Sacramento, CA
A revised budget for California is expected at 10 a.m. this morning. Joining us in studio to preview what might be in it is Steve Boilard, Director of Sacramento State’s Center for California Studies and former Legislative Analyst with the non-partisan Legislative Analyst’s Office. The focus of this year’s revision will be on expected increased tax revenues and where that money might go. We’ll talk about what it means for a state to rely on tax revenues and the various constitutional limits on how any extra money can be spent.
