How are cities like Roseville and Folsom preparing for Folsom Lake to hit a historic low? Have these communities made contingency plans to ensure customers’ water supply reliability has and continues to be a focal point beyond the drought? How will Folsom ensure it has enough water for 10,000 proposed new homes to be built in the near future?  The state has cut flows from Lake Shasta to protect an endangered species of salmon and raised flows from Folsom Lake to prevent salt water from intruding into the Delta.
