The thunderstorms that flooded the streets of Reno last week may have brought some drought relief to Nevada. Dr. Kelly Redmond is a climatologist at the Reno-based Desert Research Institute. He says Lake Mead has been hovering around a critical level of 1,075 feet above sea level.
Redmond joins us to talk about what caused the recent storms and how they are helping to relieve the drought.
