"Building the Golden Gate Bridge," by Harvey Schwartz, is the first book to use words of workers to tell how they built the iconic structure. Through oral histories, the book tells of the small pleasures and grueling physical conditions workers faced on a daily basis. Schwartz recently released the book and joins Insight to talk about what he found.
