Sacramento jazz musician Ross Hammond always manages to keep busy. In addition to owning and operating Gold Lion Arts, Hammond has regular weekly gigs around Sacramento and he released two different albums this year. He visited Insight in April of this year to talk about "Flight," a mix of hymns, traditional music and original works. We'll learn about the inspiration behind the album in this rerun, and hear an original tune played live in our studios. Hammond's latest CD is "Reindeer Songs" and he'll perform Wednesday night at Kupros and Saturday morning at Old Soul, both in Sacramento. This segment originally aired April 13, 2015.
