The band Joseph in the Well will hold a holiday benefit show on Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. at the Brickhouse Gallery. Fifty percent of the proceeds from the show and album will go to benefit music projects in Sacramento public schools. 

Singer, songwriter and violinist Joe Kye is the band leader and joins us in the studio to talk about the new project. 

The event features the Joseph in the Well trio with guest appearances by musicians and dancers.

There will also be a musical instrument drive. Concertgoers who donate an instrument or make a contribution will receive a free copy of Christmas in the Well.

Tickets are $15 presale, $20 door, available at www.josephinthewell.com. There will be wine and beer available at the event for purchase.
