What comes to mind when you hear the term “paint-with-light”? Do you picture black-and-white photographs where the only source of illumination is from a flashlight? That’s the kind of work being done by Sacramento-based photographer Jesse Vasquez. He’ll perform a live painting-with-light photo shoot at the Crocker Art Museum this Thursday. We’ll talk with Vasquez about his work, why he chose this time-intensive type of photography and what you can expect at Art Mix later this week.
