As El Niño continues to dump rain in the valley and snow in the Sierra, many skiers and snowboarders are headed to the hills ready to finally get in some turns after four years of drought in California. But all this fresh powder can lead to dangerous and sometimes life-threatening situations, especially if you’re not prepared for it.
