‘Blackberry Winter’ opens Saturday, March 19 at Capital Stage in Sacramento. It’s described as a beautiful, heartbreaking story about a woman, Vivienne Avery, who is caring for her mother who has Alzheimer's Disease.This new play by Steve Yockey is directed by Capital Stage Co-Founder and Associate Artist Jonathan Williams.
Insight host, Beth Ruyak, is joined by Amy Resnick who portrays Vivienne and UC Davis Sociologist, Dr. Carolina Apesoa-Varano who will speak about caregivers.
