In 2006, The Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation was established. Since then, nearly $30 million has been raised for lung cancer research, and that number only continues to grow. Addario is a stage 3B lung cancer survivor and founder of the ALCF.

On Saturday, April 30, the first annual "Your Next Step Cure" event is going to take place in Natomas where a 5K will be held along with other fun activities to raise money and awareness for the foundation.

Dr. Costanzo DiPerna will talk to us, along with Bonnie Addario, to talk about the foundation, the event and future lung cancer research.
