One of NPR’s most-celebrated shows for young musicians recently filmed an episode at the Mondavi Center in Davis. That episode of From the Top is airing this Sunday at 3 p.m. on CapRadio’s Classical Station.

In March, we spoke with From the Top host Christopher O’Riley while he was in Davis for the live recording of his radio show. The acclaimed pianist also performed two shows with Argentinean pianist Pablo Ziegler. We also spoke with Roger Xia, an eighth grader at Holmes Junior High in Davis, who was a featured performer in that week’s episode. Today, we’ll listen back to an excerpt from both interviews.
