Sacramento, CA
Something Inside Is Broken is a courageous story of the Nisenan Tribe of Northern California, through the frontier of Sutter's reign on the Sacramento Valley in 1846.
Jack Kohler and Alan Wallace have been working collaboratively to create a story-telling and musical rock opera of what happened during the years of 1838 to the gold rush from the Native perspective.
With this theatrical play, they, along with the rest of the cast and crew are hoping to teach an unheard perspective on California history.
Jack and Alan will be in studio to talk to Beth about the upcoming production and what motivated them to create this Native American dark opera.
