If you’ve not been following national politics or Olympic Trials, maybe you ARE following the Tour de France bicycle race, which started July 2 in Mont-Saint-Michel and ends this Sunday in Paris.

Sports journalist James Raia has covered past Tours but is stateside, following the coverage like many of us. 

He joins Insight host, Beth Ruyak, to talk about the intensity of the crowds and the impact of this year’s race. Raia is also marking his 40th year as a sportswriter.
