It’s a busy summer for the Lake Tahoe Dance Collective festival. It begins next week and features four performances by leading professional dancers and two workshop pieces.

Staged outside against the backdrop of the lake and mountain views, the festival will also include new works by Christian Burns and Constantine Baecher and an excerpt from “Swan Lake.”

Joining us in studio to talk about the ambitious dance program is Christin Hanna, the artistic director of the Lake Tahoe Dance Collective and the co-founder of the Lake Tahoe Dance Festival.

We’ll also meet choreographer Constantine Baecher, who is also a co-founder of the Lake Tahoe Dance Festival, and Kristina Berger, an internationally recognized touring dancer, teacher and choreographer.

The festival runs from July 27-29 this month.
