Maureen O’Leary Wanket will recite a passage from her book “The Ghost Daughter” in this year’s Sacramento Stories on Stage in July.

She joins Insight  today to describe her inspiration behind the book, which she largely attributes from her experience during the Loma Prieta earthquake in Santa Cruz.

One highlight she mentioned beforehand was a brick wall that was decisive in determining which side of the wall was safe and which proved fatal.
