A new low-power community radio station hopes to launch as soon as they reach their fundraising goal of $7,500.
KUTZ President Anneliese Kaufman and volunteer Andrew Parks will talk about what listeners can expect by tuning in.
The station is volunteer-run and will air on 106.9 FM. It will also use the "freeform" programming format, which gives the DJ complete control over the music they play regardless of genre or commercial interests.
