Writer-director Leo McElroy's comedy from 2015 was recently nominated for an Elly Award as "Best New Play" and this weekend, he opens a brand new political drama titled "The Meatgrinder" at the Geery Theater. 

McElroy has transformed himself over the decades, from political reporter to consultant to playwright. 

He joins Insight with two of his actors to talk about the new play – and of course – politics.
