Carmichael’s Congregation Beth Shalom is hosting the 39th Annual Jewish Food Faire on Sunday.
This year’s theme, “From Generation to Generation,” will highlight the tradition of congregants who prepare iconic Jewish foods and pass their ancestral recipes down from generation to generation.
We’ll speak with co-chairs Sheila Wolfe and Lydia Inghram about the history of the faire, the origins of iconic dishes and the stories behind them.
There will also be a Jewish deli opening on the 700 block of K Street.
