The Sacramento Blues Society has teamed up with Blues In The Schools for a one-day outdoor immersive event featuring professional blues musicians and local students.

The “Out of the Box” Community Music Festival is on Oct. 8th at the Sacramento Horseman’s Club & Grounds.

Liz Walker talks about the importance of music and arts - namely the blues - in schools and we’ll hear music from some of the bands scheduled to perform.
