As the November election rapidly approaches, the candidates for president, Senate and Congress have debated intensely over the economy, healthcare, foreign policy and more.
But one issue missing the spotlight is the future of the arts and arts education.
On Oct. 20, there will be a special forum at McKinley Park where national and state lawmakers will discuss how your vote this November will impact the arts in schools, in your community and beyond.
Tim Foster is the Executive Director of Capitol Weekly. He will be moderating the event. He joins Joe Landon, executive director of the California Alliance for Arts Education in studio to explore arts and the November election.
