South American colonial art is the start of a new exhibit open at the Crocker Art Museum through January 2017.

“Highest Heaven” is a traveling exhibition featuring more than 100 paintings, sculptures, silver works and other decorative and devotional art objects.

It’s the first exhibition on the West Coast to deal with South American colonial art.
