The California Honeydrops has become a mainstay in the funk and blues music scene in Northern California touring for more than a decade.

With humble beginnings in Oakland BART stations, the Bay Area group has made it atop festival line-ups including the Cannabis Cup this weekend.

Ben Malament is the group's co-founder and drummer.
