Reek Of Red Herring Author Catriona McPherson returns to Insight with the latest novel in her popular Scottish-set detective series featuring Detective Dandy Gilver.

In “The Reek of Red Herrings,” Gilver finds herself on the wind-battered Banffshire Coast investigating her grisliest case yet.

McPherson shares what wedding customs she uncovered while doing research for the ninth novel of the series and whether Dandy Gilver will ever make it onto our television screens.

McPherson will be at the Avid Reader in Davis on Thursday, 12/15 at 7:30 and at the Avid Reader in Sacramento on Saturday, 12/17 at 4pm for book signings.
