A Northern California venue known as a mainstay for folk and Americana music has new owners after being closed for most of 2016.

The Palms Playhouse in Winters will open its doors again Friday, Jan. 6 in the historic Winters Opera House.

Andrew Fridae and Nora Cary speak about their plans for the Yolo County institution.
