Thousands are preparing to come to Nevada City and Grass Valley for the Wild and Scenic Film Festival's 15th year of environmental conservation and activism in Northern California.

Starting Thursday, festival-goers will experience four days of film watching, activities and special events.

This year, Gary Snyder and Tom Killion will be among the prominent guest speakers. Festival director Melinda Booth joins Insight to explain what else is in store.
