From the moment Donald Trump was elected President of the United States, California lawmakers set themselves up as his instant foil.

It would be California versus Trump.

One way to do that was the appointment of Xavier Becerra as California's Attorney General.

On Sunday, Becerra condemned President Trump's immigration order.
