Sacramento, CA
Lawmakers introduced a new bill Thursday that would focus climate change funding to support low-income communities across California.
The bill comes a day after former EPA head Gina McCarthy visited Sacramento with the message that California must lead the way on reducing carbon emissions as the federal government disregards the issue.
State government reporter Ben Bradford provides the update on the climate beat and explains why another former D.C. politician made his way to Sacramento.
