Sacramento, CA
For more than two decades, the Vagina Monologues has educated, entertained and inspired audiences with women’s stories of overcoming rape and sexual abuse.
This Saturday, three area non-profits are putting together a special production of the show at a time where the political climate surrounding gender relations and sexual violence couldn’t be more intense. It will be at the Unity of Sacramento on Feb. 25.
Director Melanie Smith joins representatives from Real Cream Café, My Sister’s House and the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence to explain this unique production and give a preview of what will be seen Saturday.
