The Ways and Means and Energy and Commerce Committee met on Wednesday to discuss the highly controversial replacement to the Affordable Care Act being presented by House Republicans.
Its meeting comes as the Trump administration continues an all-out media blitz supporting the new legislation and looking to hammer it through Congress.
Among those in staunch opposition to the plan is California Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones. He joins Insight from Los Angeles to discuss his concerns with the plan and their strategy if the public insurance market is eventually dropped.
