CORE Contemporary Dance is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a special performance that includes a new collaboration with violinist Joe Kye.

Artistic director Kelli Leighton talks about CORE and what it means to make the 10-year mark as a company. Joe Kye will also discuss his role in the dance group's celebration.

Kye, a former Sacramento resident and music teacher, moved recently to Portland, Oregon, but he maintains close ties to Northern California.

They will be playing at the Harris Center March 17 and 18.
