Sacramento, CA
The California Legislature is set to vote on a bill Thursday that would raise $52 billion in vehicle fees and a gas tax to repair the state's roads.
The California Chamber of Commerce is among the agencies in support of the legislation, arguing the state's infrastructure is in desperate need of repair.
However, the bill has its detractors, like environmental activist groups around the state. Capitol Bureau Chief Ben Adler spoke with a supporter and opposition to the legislation.
