There is plenty for Political Junkie Ken Rudin to discuss on Insight with the confirmation of Trump nominee Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court, recent Syrian airstrikes and further developments with possible interference with the 2016 elections.
Justice Anthony Kennedy, who Gorsuch once clerked for, administered the public oath.
Rudin will also discuss how the longevity and health of the other eight justices will be under even more scrutiny following the Senate's invoking of the "nuclear option."
Following Trump's decision on Thursday to launch an airstrike on Syria, Russia has become increasingly interested in U.S. strategy in the Middle East, creating political tension. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is currently in Europe at a G7 meeting but will be in Russia later this week.
The 2016 election is still making headlines and House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes announced he's temporarily recusing himself from his department's investigation into possible Russian tampering with election results.
