The American River College Vocal Jazz Ensemble returns home next weekend for a spring concert.

The contemporary jazz vocal ensemble, under the direction of Art Lapierre, has won numerous awards at from both Down Beat Magazine and at music competitions throughout the country.

They recently performed at The Next Generation Monterey Jazz Festival and will perform Wednesday, May 10 at American River College. We’ll meet the students who make up the ensemble and hear them perform live in our studio.
