The drought in California officially ended in April, and a heat wave is melting the record snowpack in the Sierra, but fire season is just around the corner.

Insight producer Cody Drabble will guest host this segment to speak with three experts about Wildfire Awareness Week and what the state and federal agencies are doing to gear up for another hot summer.

Ken Pimlott of CAL FIRE, Rob Griffith with the U.S. Forest Service, and Craig Thomas from Sierra Forest Legacy will join us in studio.
